The five traditional stone houses with a total of 25 residential units were built based on-honored architecture. The courtyards are decorated with flowers and fruit trees. The picturesque Skarinou is considered one of the prettiest villages in Cyprus. It was built on a hill, and its highest point is about 190 m above sea level. Skarinou is often referred to as the heart of Cyprus, since it lies directly on the path axis between Nicosia, Limassol and Larnaca. In Skarinou there are many small businesses that manufacture traditional products, such as the famous halloumi cheese. In the village center you will find an impressive church and an old mill where is now a tavern.
