The holiday home
Cosy wooden house situated on a nice plot close to the sea with a view towards the water from the plot. The house was modernized in 2005 and includes a cosy living room with woodburning stove and an open kitchen, bathroom and 2 bedrooms. There is another bedroom in a separate building. The large terrace can be accessed from the living room which surrounds a large part of the house. The separate building can be reached via the terrace. The house is located in the calm holiday home area Stenodden only 150 m away from a child-friendly beach. Here you are surrounded by a beautiful nature with a varied animal life and good fishing opportunities. The house is about 15 km away from Svendborg with exciting shops and restaurants. Free access to the aquapark in Svendborg.
The area
Tåsinge is connected with Funen via a high bridge. The ride over the bridge is a fantastic event with the view across Svendborg and the archipelago south of Funen. The holiday home area Stenodden is located in the very southern part of Tåsinge. Here it is so calm and peaceful that you can hear the frogs on the surrounding meadows.The beach is very child-friendly with shallow and calm water which is perfect for canoeing or kayaking. The nature around Stenodden is very beautiful with woods with a varied animal life. During summer you can buy fruits and vegetables in the many farm stores on the island. If you would like to go shopping, Svendborg is only 15 km away by car. On the eastern side of Tåsinge you find the idyllic fishing town Troense with old half-timbered houses and an idyllic marina.
Attractions
From Troense a beautiful alley leads you to Valdemar´s castle which is used today as a manor museum. From here you can enter the veteran boat ”Helge” and experience a fantastic sailing trip in the archipelago. Svendborg with its characteristic and charming steep streets is an experience. Here you can visit the modern museum if natural history, Naturama, shop in the large walking street or splash around in the large indoor aquapark. The food market „Culinary Southern Funen“ is an attraction for both locals and people from other areas in Denmark with ist fantastic selection of specialities from all over Denmark. Egeskov Castle on Southern Funen is one of the large attractions on Funen with a fantastic castle park, a veteran car museum and access to the castle. Odense is Funen´s largest town and is about 30 minutes away from Tåsinge by car. Here you find, among others, Odense Zoo which is one of the most beautiful in Denmark, the house of Hans Christian Andersen and the Danish Railway museum as well as many other attractions.
