Cottage situated in Fano and approx. 300 m from the North Sea and one of the best beaches in Denmark. The house is well equipped with all conceivable facilities including whirlpool and sauna. The stove provides heat in autumn and winter. Washer and dryer are in the pantry. There has installed energy-saving heat pump. Situated on a cul-de-sac in a peaceful area, and has a sheltered south-facing terrace and patios on both west and east side of the house. There are swings and sandpit for younger children. On the large plot runs a small stream through, and the children have the opportunity to catch small animals from the bridge. The house is year round ample opportunity to experience Fanø nature close up. Deer, rabbits and pheasants move close to the house, located approx. 150 meters from the large protected natural area to the south. Here there are marked trails that lead through both dunes, forest and heath. Approximately 6 km from the house is a forest playground. Fano is located in the Wadden Sea, one of the world's most important wetlands for fish, birds and seals. Here you can experience the tides and the many millions of migratory birds each year passes the area. The villages Nordby and Sønderho offers many cultural experiences. Take a walk and look at the many protected and preserved houses. The island offers a rich history that is displayed in city museums. Experience both traditional and contemporary music and dance to local festivals and cultural event.
