This well-maintained, attractive stone house VILLA LOU CLAOU style of the Périgord, stands at the edge of the hamlet Auriac du Périgord, 5 km outside of Montignac. Bar / restaurant and tennis at the place to do business in Montignac. Beautiful property on the hillside (approx. 5500 m²) with lush vegetation and many trees, panoramic views over the picturesque valley and the rooftops of Auriac. Large furnished patio with awning. Grill. Indoor salt water pool (5.5 x 14 m, 14.04.-20.10. Which are movable elements of the cover) with pool house, terrace, deck chairs and umbrella. Parking. Montignac

The pretty, very lively in high summer is idyllic provincial town in the valley of the Vezere, 47 km east of Périgueux. Montignac developed into one of the main tourist attractions of the Perigord caves of Lascaux II prehistoric cave drawings (2 miles). The old town with its picturesque uniform spatial image extends to both sides of the river. Worth a trip to Sarlat (26 km south) or the Castle of Losse (6.5 km south-west).

Cities worth seeing are Sarlat and Périgueux. Numerous prehistoric sites are located in the valley of the Vezere. For 'Flußfahrer' extremely worthwhile scenic value are the sections of the Dordogne in Cénac, Beynac and Castelnaud. The Lot region in the southwest then shows a varied landscape, shaped by the river valleys of the Dordogne and Lot, which supplies water through its steep cliffs of limestone plateaus in mäandergleichen turns of the Garonne.
