Open-plan living room with quarry tiled floor, cane sofa and armchairs around the fireplace, television, dining area and kitchen behind bar with gas hob leading to utility room with microwave/electric oven, large fridge with small freezer dishwasher and washing machine. Two carpeted double bedrooms on the ground floor, hanging cupboards in the hallway and a bathroom with bath and shower and separate wc. Upstairs is a twin bedroom and a large landing which also serves as a play room for children. Cot and highchair available on request. Electricity payable locally. Bed linen and towels available at extra cost payable locally.
A modern house with traditional pigeonnier in wooded surroundings Position: A mile from the village of Castelnaud with its supermarket, restaurant and dramatically placed château overlooking the Dordogne. Two and a half miles across the river to Beynac and seven miles to Sarlat with its weekly market. The house stands on a hillside in spacious grounds bounded by woods. There is a terrace with garden furniture overlooking the pool (10x5m, 01/05-30/09) and a covered terrace with barbecue and a shower and wc.
Small village with 550 inhabitants, 10 km from Sarlat, 48 km from Rouffignac, 32 km from Gourdon. In the resort: shops, grocers, restaurant, museum.
Access: motorway A20, exit number "Souillac". Railway station "SNCF Sarlat". For arrivals by plane: airport Périgueux (PGX) 75 km, Bergerac (EGC) 65 km. Sights to see: Castle, archaelogical park, Milandes castle, 5 km. Numerous excursion possibilities into the heart of the Perigord Noir.
