The Baltic Sea resort of Weissenhaeuser Strand is a holiday park without any high rises in the Hohwachter Bay, in a (for the Baltic Sea) unique dune landscape. The beach is 3 km long, of which 400 m are for naturists, at one end of the beach is a magnificent wooded steep coastline, the other side is practise land for the Military Service (peace is sometimes disturbed). It's hard to beileve but true that the nearby Bungsberg (16 km) has Germany's most northern ski lift and is suitable for toboganning and skiing for novices. Trips possible to Laboe or Groemitz as well as to the towns of Kiel, Luebeck and Hamburg and to the Fehmarn island.
