Eifel
House:
The Strumpffabrik Estate is surrounded by fields and extensive woods. The estate is near the picturesque town of Kerpen in the Eifel Volcano region. The 1.3 hectare garden includes the large, original factory building in which stockings were manufactured until 1989. The owners have infused new life into the building using a keen eye for detail. The centre of the house is the spacious, luxurious group area in the west wing. Groups find this ideal for a successful stay. There are large, well furnished living and dining rooms, a delightful terrace and a modern, inviting wellness area with sauna and jacuzzi. The central area and the east wing are available separately. There is an intimate cafe here and two excellent seminar and function rooms. There is also a holiday accommodation, DE-54578-10, as well as the owners' living quarters. You can organise seminars, parties, wedding receptions and presentations on request. There is a 390 million year old rock face behind the estate which is part of the Eifel Volcano's Geo Park. The famous Eifelsteig walking route passes the front of the building. Golfers can enjoy the 18-hole course at the Eifel Golf Club, three kilometres away. The famous regional attraction, the Nürburgring, is just twenty kilometres away. It is a motor racing track and a recreation park and has something for everyone.
