In the house: sauna, whirlpool (all included). Parking by the house. Shop 3 km, grocers 3 m, restaurant, bar 300 m, bus stop 3 km, railway station 3 km.

Small, historical, family friendly city directly by the sea, 127 km north-east from Galway, 147 km south-west from Londonderry, 196 km north-west from Dublin. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort.

Access: motorway N4 Dublin - Sligo. Then road R290 Dromahair. For arrivals by plane: airport Shannon (SNN) 196 km, Dublin (DUB) 195 km. Resounding with literary history, Sligo is one of the northwest’s most scenic counties and was the inspiration for poet WB Yeats. As well as some truly beautiful mountainous scenery, Sligo is also blessed with still glassy lakes and some beautiful beaches perched right on the edge of the Atlantic. Sligo Town, is a buzzy, atmospheric spot filled with great restaurants, shops and pubs, while the county’s smaller villages are excellent places to escape the frenetic pace of life. Activities in the area go from top golf to scenic coastal walks around the county, the historic 225km Tour de Humbert cycling route through the Sligo countryside and salmon fishing in the Moy Estuary. Children will appreciate Gillighan’s World, with its “enchanted” areas, miniature villages, a pet village and a play area and Sligo Folk Park , providing a fascinating look at life around the turn of the late 19th century.
