The castle della Foresta, a beautiful Norman castle from the seventh century, is located amidst volcanic beaches, green spits and a cobalt blue sea. In the middle ages it was the property of the family Cosentini dAieta. The current owners and descendents have lovingly completely restored the castle and retained the original architecture. The castle is square in shape, with two towers and the family coat of arms of this Marquis family hangs at the entrance. "Corpo di Guardia" is a beautifully furnished apartment with the familys antique furniture. There is a sensation view of the sea from the terrace. The particularly friendly owners take pleasure in organizing cooking workshops and have great tips for excursions in the surrounding area.
