The charming, fully restored village house BELLA VISTA (in German nice view: the name can be taken literally!) Stands on the edge of the labyrinthine old, only accessible on foot village of the district Gallio. To the lake with the districts of Santa Maria Rezzonico and 4.5 km. Small (ca. 100 m²), fenced garden plot, partly natural, on the hillside. Parking on the road from here about 3 minutes walk (alleys, stairs) to the house.

The house is bright and cozy. Terracotta and wooden floors. Gas central heating. Satellite TV. Washing machine. Patio with furniture and a wonderful lake view.

Incidental expenses on house current (approximately EUR 0.30 / kWh), gas (about 1 EUR / m³) and, if needed firewood (must itself be worried) after consumption. Resort tax. Bring towels. Deposit EUR 150 Cot / high chair: no charge (order). Pets are not allowed.

SRZ 151 3-room house, 2 floors, approx 45 m². Entrance via outside stairs to the upper ground floor: entrance hall. Living room with sofa, fireplace, dining area and kitchen (4 flames, oven, coffee maker, toaster, kettle). From the entrance hall staircase to the first Floor: Bedroom with double Bed (1.40 m wide). Bedroom with single and trundle bed and a small balcony overlooking the lake. Bathroom / WC.

SAN siro

The municipality of San Siro, about ten tranquil villages on the western shore of Lake Como, is 5-7 km north of Menaggio, 12 km south of Gravedona. On the lake villages Acquaseria, Santa Maria and Rezzonico. Up the slope, the quiet villages of Torre San Martino, Carcenter, Soriano, Gallio, Treccione in a panoramic position, starting points for easy to challenging hikes: on the summit of Monte Grona (1756 m, grandiose panorama) or Monte Bregagno (2107 m); along the "Via dei Monti Lariani ', in 700-1200 m altitude through forests and past old pastures, with panoramic views of the alpine scenery of Lake Como pronounced. Beaches (pebbles) in Santa Maria, near the castle of Rezzonico and in Acquaseria. San Siro convinced by the authenticity of its villages and its proximity to the attractions of Lake Como.

Lake Como

Konrad Adenauer was in the 50s and 60s in summer Cadenabbia on Lake Como. The photos from playing bocce Chancellor were a priceless advertisement for this so very beautiful northern Italian lake, around which there has been relatively quiet, but only as far as the German tourist. With Cadenabbia Adenauer had chosen the most beautiful section of the 50 km long lake, the 'Riviera Tremezzina' at the lush central West Bank, between Lenno and Menaggio. The mild climate, sea and landscape invite you to vacation home, which may begin in early spring and until well into the fall have their charms. At the northern Lake Como gently sloping sand and shingle beaches. Lot of water sports (surfing, sailing, motor boating, water skiing), several golf courses. Excursions into landscapes, lakes, cities and attractions come to mind almost. A ride on the picturesque streets to the nearby Lake Lugano, about Argegno by the Intelvi Valley, the Valley of the stonemasons and builders, is just as delightful as a trip to the beautiful green alpine valley between Valsassina Bellano and Lecco, a paradise for hikers. In an hour the capital city of Lombardy Milan (great shopping) is reached, or Bergamo, with its car-free old town, from the massive walled upper town with its castle, cathedral, palaces and squares. Also close to the very different landscapes of the Ticino and the Valtellina (Valtellina) and its vineyards.

Hikers found around Lake Como varied very very scenic opportunities. Along the entire western and northern shores are found in the 700-1200 m altitude marked 'Via dei Monti Lariani', along the eastern shore there is the 'Sentiero del Viandante'. There are also many rewarding panoramic summit.
