Oliveira is a five-person cottage, completely on the ground floor. The bathroom has splendid mosaic decorations. The cottage is located on the hill "o monte do Barril" and from the terrace and the garden you have magnificent views on the rice valleys.

Holiday park: Termas da Azenha
The former thermal baths Termas de Azenha are located on the edge of the river Pranto which ends in the Mondego, just outside the village Pedrogão do Pranto. The Dutch owners have bought the small village with the bathing house and several buildings to fully renovate it. Currently, you can stay in 2 holiday homes located in the former bathing house, 2 studios in a separate building above the former bar, or in one of the two newly built and connected 'Caribic Houses', located on a hill with splendid views on the Termas and the surrounding rice fields. All the holiday homes look out onto the Pranto valley. In future, there will be more holiday homes here, in addition to a camp site, swimming pool and restaurant. Meals can be provided on request, while you relax and get spoiled with delicious dishes. The proximity of the Atlantic coast with a beach resort like Figueira da Foz (15 km) and the quiet beaches of Lavos and Leirosa make the location ideal for sun and sea fans. People looking for tranquillity, nature and clean air will be happy here. And the healing waters from the sources in the complex are of course an additional attraction! Those who come to Portugal for the culture will also find what they want. The old university town of Coimbra is less than 40 km away. The excavations of the former Roman town of Conimbriga are less than 25 km away and the pilgrimage destination of Fatima, the monastery of Batalha and the spa resorts Curia and Luso are less than an hour's drive away.

Our premise Termas da Azenha includes 7.5 hectares of beautiful grounds, of which 5 hectares are former agricultural rice growing semi-wetlands. 1.5 hectares is formed by our 'hill' Monte de Barril, which is part of one of the valley slopes. This part was used as an olive tree plantation holding a hundred olive trees. We are proud to say that these olive trees are still part of our land. Over the past decade the trees have had to miss some tender loving care and therefore we have started to prune back the trees to make them more productive. After all there is nothing much better than making your own olive oil! The remaining space is taken by the buildings, the stables, garages and the gardens. Termas da Azenha constists of 4 familyhouses, 2 studios, 4 hotelrooms and a bathhouse with 8 more rooms. All of these houses and rooms are beautifully decorated with wallpaintings and mosaics. On Tuesdays, you can learn to make mosaics yourself. It is very agreeable, nice to meet other people and rather easy to learn the basics of mosaic making. You will take your own "painting" home. Costs: 35,- incl. material. From Saturday till Tuesday, you can dine with us, together with all of us, or on your own private table. We mostly eat vegetarian, but we do vegan, meat & fish too. You can indicate your preferences. There are walking tours available, as well as outings. Ask at the reception. At the reception, you can make an appointment for a massage as well. We do shiatsu, sportsmassages, relaxing massages in The Cave, footmassages, warmwatermassages in the RainRoom and colourtherapy. The massagerooms are very original and beautifully decorated.
