The residence ARMINA stands in a sunny location at the entrance of Crans with stunning views over the Rhône valley to Martigny. Center and cable car 1.7 km. First supermarket 1.5 km. Bus stop about 100 m (travel times will vary depending on season). Each apartment has a reserved parking space at the house. In house swimming pool (11 x 5 m, heated), sauna (both included in the rent), lift. Depending on one ski apartment. The apartments are neatly furnished and vacation needs, both cable-TV (German channels) and an open fireplace, balcony and furniture. CSM 172 in DVD, CD. Note: Smoking is not permitted in the apartments.

Location On the north side of the Rhone Valley, 15 km upstream from Sierre.



Getting there Motorway Bern - Fribourg - Vevey - Martigny - Sierre direction - before turning to Sierre Crans-Montana/Aminona. Distance from Bern 170 km.



Characteristics The twin resorts of Crans-Montana, one of the largest and most prestigious ski resorts of Switzerland, lies high above the Rhone Valley on a sunny terrace with beautiful views of the chain of the Valais Alps. Depending on the size of the cut is almost urban, the range of leisure, sports and shopping very extensive. 4 km east of Montana was the sporty station Aminona. Aminona consists of three originally designed eleven-story apartment buildings and some chalets in a quiet, sunny hillside, with magnificent views of the Rhone Valley and Valais Alps. Aminona offers the only 150 meters from the funicular to Petit Bonvin direct access to the entire ski area and little or no waiting times. In Aminona you will also benefit from the extensive sports and leisure facilities of Crans-Montana, which is reached by a good and direct road without slope. Regular daytime bus service (included in lift pass).



The ski resort south oriented mainly to Bellalui (2543 m), Plaine Morte (3000 m) and Les Violettes (2250 m) by 27 cable cars and ski lifts to a continuous combined ski circuit and superbly developed. The Plaine Morte glacier is reached by gondola 'Funitel'. Crans leads a cable car to the Cry d'Er. The 80 cabins, each with its 8 seats in transporting guests in not more than 10 minutes to the ski area. A comfortable 4-person chairlift leads to Bellalui. The departures from the Cry d'Er to Les Barzettes (Piste Nationale) and to Montana (Grand signal), Mt Lachaux to and from Les Barzettes Chetzeron and also in the Violet area can be covered with artificial snow. An illuminated night ski slope. Among the numerous descents of about 140 km of slopes dominating the central difficulty. The cable car to 2400 m high Petit Bonvin (mountain restaurant) Aminona connects with the overall resort. The detachable 6-seater chairlift at the ski nation, provided with a central station, offers a star-like connectivity to the rest of the ski area.



Snowboarding is for beginners and advanced snowboarders in Cry d'Er, a well-built snow park with halfpipe and boardercross available.



6-day lift pass CHF 323 adults, students (up to 24 years, student card) CHF 243, CHF 162 children (born in 1996-2005, children younger ride free when accompanied).



Long-term Crans-Montana (classic and skating) 16 km of trails in town and in the spring 6 km on the glaciers of the Plaine Morte (3000 m). Use the trails for a fee.



In Aminona sports: ski school. Slide 6 km from the Petit Bonvin (2400 m) to Aminona (1500 m) to the base station of the gondola (sled rental at checkout). Crans-Montana ski, snowboard and cross country courses. Kindergarten (with lunch) and children's ski school (each 3 years) with a private practice area and four conveyor belts. 60 km hiking trails, including 15 km of cleared winter hiking trails.
